Flowers are for the “In-Between”

We’re quickly approaching Mother’s Day, and JT and I have been busy getting our flowers ready for the “big show.” But what happens after Mother’s Day?

Somewhere along the way, flowers got labeled as only for special occasions—birthdays, anniversaries, celebrations. Big moments.

We see it differently.

JT brings me flowers when I’ve had a hard day, when I’m not feeling well… or just because. It’s one of the reasons I knew this flower farm was for us—we get to help create those same moments for others.

Flowers aren’t just for the milestones—they’re for the in-between. The ordinary days. The ones that could use a little softening around the edges.

Here are a few reasons to bring flowers home… no occasion required. (And trust me—you get far more bonus points when it’s not expected 😉)

🌸 Because ordinary days deserve something beautiful
Not every day is going to be memorable—but adding something beautiful to it can change how it feels. A small bunch on the counter. A jar by the sink. It doesn’t have to be fancy to matter.

🌸 Because flowers make a space feel alive
There’s just something about fresh flowers that shifts a room. They add movement, color, and a little bit of the outdoors—without you having to say a word. It’s the quickest way we know to make a house feel more like home.
(And somehow… it’s a little easier to ignore the dirty dishes when there’s a bouquet nearby.)

🌸 Because they connect you to the season
Grocery store flowers all start to look the same after a while. But seasonal, locally grown blooms? They tell you exactly what time of year it is. What’s blooming now won’t be here forever—and that’s part of what makes it special.

🌸 Because they don’t have to be a “big deal”
There’s this idea that flowers have to be grand or expensive. They don’t. A simple handful of stems can be just as meaningful as a large arrangement—sometimes even more so.
Think of a child handing their mom a single dandelion—it’s never about the flower, it’s about the feeling behind it.

🌸 Because someone (including you) could use a pick-me-up
Flowers don’t fix everything—but they do something. They soften a hard day. They brighten a quiet one. They remind people they’re thought of.
And yes… that includes you, too.

We love flowers for the big moments—but we love them just as much for the small, everyday ones.

So if you’ve been waiting for a reason to bring some home…this is it.
