Bringing the Dream to Life: Where Do We Even Start?
Once we had this incredible idea in mind, the big question was: Where do we begin to make it real?
We turned to Google for answers — and quickly realized it could be both a helpful guide and a confusing maze. The deeper we dug, the more overwhelmed we felt. We scrolled through Facebook Reels, subscribed to YouTube channels, devoured books, and searched every keyword imaginable.
One thing was clear: we needed a name. Something that gave the project identity and meaning.
We started brainstorming based on the land itself — what we planned to grow, the constant wind that sweeps through the area, the local history, and the features of the property. That’s when inspiration struck. Well, technically, it struck JT.
There’s an old, weathered building on the land — barely standing. When the wind blows (which is pretty much all the time), the loose metal panels moan and creak. It’s eerie, haunting, and oddly beautiful. We decided to repurpose that old material, giving it new life. And in doing so, it gave us something in return: a name.
Weathered Tin Farm was born.
